On January 10, Ambassador Shen Minjuan met with Mongolian Finance Minister Zabkhlen and exchanged views on China-Mongolia relations and bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

Zabkhlen spoke highly of China's valuable support to Mongolia during the pandemic, and was pleased to see the rapid development of relations between the two countries, especially bilateral trade. He said that Mongolia attaches great importance to the Belt and Road cooperation with China and looks forward to the continued development of China's economy to provide assistance to Mongolia’s economic growth.

Ambassador Shen said that bilateral trade between China and Mongolia reached a record high last year, which is a vivid example where China provides new opportunities to the world with its own new development. China will continue to expand high-level opening up to the outside world, deepen high-quality cooperation in building the Belt and Road Initiative, and share a common future with regional countries including Mongolia. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia. I believe that the relations between the two countries will develop faster and better.
