On March 15, Ambassador Shen Minjuan met at request with Ms. Olga Dzhumaeva, Head of East Asia Delegation at International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Ms. Olga Dzhumaeva extended appreciation to the Chinese side for the support in the work of the Red Cross Society and applauded China’s efforts to help Mongolia fight against dzud. She said that we look forward to closer cooperation with China to level up Mongolia’s capacity of disaster prevention and reduction, in particular early warning and response. 

Ambassador Shen said that the visit of Ms. Olga Dzhumaeva brings concrete support to Mongolia against the disaster. China is ready to strengthen communication and collaboration with the Red Cross Society to help Mongolia defeat the disaster together soon.
